Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer is caused by the rapid growth and division of cells within one or both ovaries. Symptoms of ovarian cancer usually occur in women over age 50, but it can also affect younger women. Its cause is unknown, and ovarian cancer can be hard to detect. The sooner ovarian cancer is found and diagnosed, the better the patient's chance for effective treatment and recovery.
